💼 About the Role
We’re looking for a warm, organized, and motivated Recruiter to join our team in Totowa, NJ.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, staying on top of details, and helping build a strong team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in our hiring process by communicating with applicants, scheduling interviews, tracking progress, and helping us find qualified caregivers to support our growing needs.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and creative when it comes to recruiting. If you enjoy a fast-paced office environment and love being the person who keeps things moving, this could be a great fit.
No experience with our platforms? No problem — we’ll train you.
✨ What You’ll Do
Recruitment, Scheduling & Communication
- Post and refresh job ads in JazzHR every two weeks based on current hiring needs
- Recruit using Indeed, My CNA, LinkedIn, CHHA Facebook groups, employee referrals, and other creative sourcing methods
- Think outside the box to help bring in strong caregiver candidates
- Manage incoming applications and track each applicant throughout the recruitment process
- Add applicant information into the recruiting tracker
- Conduct phone screenings with applicants
- Schedule qualified applicants for in-office interviews using Acuity
- Call applicants the day before their appointment to confirm attendance
- Respond to applicant questions and appointment-related messages in a timely, professional way
- Update interview schedules and applicant statuses across platforms
- Communicate professionally with applicants who are not being moved forward

Follow-Up & Ongoing Maintenance
- Follow up with applicants who do not answer initial outreach
- Reconnect with applicants who were unable to complete the process and help reschedule when appropriate
- Track applicants who do not move forward and document outcomes
- Send confirmations to applicants to make sure they are attending interviews
- Maintain accurate records by updating statuses and cleaning up duplicates across systems
Staffing Support
- Help gather employee availability updates
- Track inactive employees
- Follow up as needed and update records accordingly
Team Communication & Reporting
- Provide weekly data on scheduled appointments and completed calls for team huddles
- Update trackers with important employee and applicant information discussed by the team
- Keep documentation organized, accurate, and up to date
